He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marcelo and Clara Garcia; his godmother Sally Garcia; his grandparents, Santiago and Margarita Luera; and his uncles, Frank and Jimmy Luera.

He is survived by: his wife Monica Luera; his children, Jeremiah Martinez, Nathan Luera, Julius Luera, Madden Green and Cesare Luera; his sister Erica Rodriguez; his brother-in-law Joe Rodriguez; his brother David Luera, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Serina Luera.
