He was predeceased by: his parents, Sixto Silvas and Carmen Silvas; his son Nathaniel Silvas; his cousin Mauro Martinez; and his brother Tano Torres.
He is survived by: his daughters, Maribel, Ariana, Erynn and Kayla Silvas; and his siblings, Angelica, Lupe, Frances (Manuel Orta), Veronica (Jose Dominguez), Jannette Rodriguez (Raul Soriano) and David (Ventura Silvas).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory (1040 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St Anthony's Catholic Church (1321 W Monahans St, Odessa, TX 79763). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Heritage Cemetery (4100 FM1788, Midland, TX 79707).
