She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Griffin and Faye Griffin; her husband Bobby; her son-in-law Albert Ureta; her granddaughter Amanda Ureta; and her siblings, Modene Scott, Anne Grimes and Bobby Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Thomas (Stephanie) of San Angelo, Russ Sawyer of Odessa and Kim Ureta of Odessa; her sisters, Cleta Van Meter and Nita Hickman of McAdoo, Texas.; her grandchildren, Miranda Ureta of Odessa and Zachary Thomas of Chapparal; her great grandchildren, Hunter and Layla Thomas of Chapparal; and her caregivers, Tambra, Emily and Ricky.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762).
