He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Beltran; his daughter-in-law Maricela Ruiz; his grandchildren, Jordan Ruiz, Brianna Ruiz, Daniel Beltran, Yleanna Beltran and Amery Ruiz; his sister Isabella "Chavela" Padilla; and his son Joseph Ruiz Jr..
