He is survived by: his wife Teresa Barrientos; and his children, Miguel Barrientos (Leticia), Rosa Olvera (Venustiano), Jose Angel Barrientos (Manuela) and Tomas Barrientos (Yanet). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
