He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Cavender and Leona Cavender; his former wives, Judy Cavender and Carol Arnold-Cavender; and his children, Scott Arnold, Shelley Bruton Cavender and Maribell Sanchez Cavender.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Keefer; and his sons, Bill Cavender (Dianne Cavender) of Odessa, James Cavender (Nancy Cavender) of Fort Worth, Shawn Cavender, Angi Cavender of Odessa, David Arnold (Penny Arnold) of Odessa and Eric Arnold (Amy Arnold) of Spicewood. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Life Church (7184 Club Dr, Odessa, TX 79762).
