He was predeceased by: his mother Mattie Mae Nave Whitaker; and his son Robert Matthew Whitaker. He is survived by: his father William Vester Whitaker (Short); his wife Marilyn Whitaker of McCamey, TX; his children, Jim Whitaker (Michele) of Morrison, CO, Bill Whitaker of Lakewood, CO and Jennifer Aguilar (Tony) of McCamey, TX; his grandchildren, Matthew Whitaker (Brittany) of Littleton, CO, Dr. Connor Whitaker (Annalis Whitaker) of Blue Bell, PA, Gillian Gamboa (Tommy) of Aurora, CO, Ruben Aguilar of McCamey, TX and Amelia Aguilar of McCamey, TX; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Whitaker of Littleton, CO, Weston Whitaker of Littleton, CO, Ceres Whitaker of Blue Bell, PA and Addy Gamboa of Aurora, CO.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
