He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidro Gonzalez, Sr. and Jesusa Flores Gonzalez; his son Ernest "Tito" Gonzales; and his siblings, Gilbert Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez, Ester Leal, Rosa Castillo and Genoveva Castillo.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Gonzalez of Odessa; his children, Marisa Gonzalez of Odessa, Marisela Gonzalez of Odessa, Oscar Gonzales of Fort Scott, Eddie Gonzales of Leesville, Silvia Gonzales of San Angelo and Gene Gonzales of Mesa, Arizona; and his sisters, Betty Hojeda and Carolyn Rendon. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
