It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Gonzales (Odessa, Texas), who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe R. Salcido and Susana O. Salcido; her brothers, Frank and Rogelio Salcido; and her daughter Suzette Adelaida Gonzales.
She is survived by: her husband Javier Gonzales; her children, Jeremiah Gonzales (Diana), Ilena Carrasco (Miguel) and Javan Gonzales (Mia Barreraz); and her grandchildren, Nehemiah, Nathaniel, Juliana, Eliam, Adelaida, Matizyn and Alex. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 E, I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762). A prayer was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Hope Alive Church (305 W 19th St, Odessa, TX 79761). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 601 N Lee Ave, Odessa, TX 79761.
