He is survived by: his sister Vonda McKown (George) of Spring, TX; the mother of his children Donna Ross Bell of Odessa, TX; his children, Shelly Copeland (Danny) of Brownwood, TX and Sonya Ross Swann of Odessa, TX; his grandchildren, Ashley Caddell, Bryce Long, Meagan Truex (Taylor), Keely Head (Rowdy) and Austin Twilligear (Lexi); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Alyssa, Jesslyn, Ryker, Rook, Ryver, Kaine, Aiden, Houston, Braylee and Emma; his nephew Ross McKown (Stephanie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaden, Keeley and Chase McKown (Haley); and his close friend Larry Cave. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Acres West Funeral Chapel (8115 W University Blvd, Odessa, TX 79764). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762).
