The passing of Geraldine (Gerry) King of Odessa, Texas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Leon and Nellie Marie McDurmon; her husband Lawrence; her sisters, Patsy and Marsha McDurmon; and her grandson Trey King.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard, Norman, Russell and Curtis; her siblings, Ronnie McDurmon and Glenda Armstrong; and her niece Terry McIntyre. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northside Baptist Church (100 W 50th St, Odessa, TX 79764). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Crane County Cemetery (1505 Andrews Hwy, Crane, TX 79731).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made at the giver's discretion to people currently in need, or to a Christian ministry.
