She was predeceased by: her parents, J. E. Irvin and Alma Irvin (Bridges). She is survived by: her husband Albert Hurbert Herron; her close friends, Vivian, Lynn and Rosa; her son Eddie Herron; her granddaughters, Jennifer and Cassandra Herron; her siblings, Retha Irvin, Marie Marchman, Dan and Harrell (Sonny Irvin); and her children, Wayne Herron, Fredia Bassham (Joe) of Baytown, TX, Rick Herron, Mike Herron (Terri) of Odessa, TX and Herbie Herron of Ft. Stockton, Texas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
