With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eric Michael Smead of Odessa, Texas, born in Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away on May 2, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Smead and Ed Smead; and his brother Greg Smead. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughter Carol Stocks; his son-in-law Rick Stocks; his daughter Sharon Smead; his son-in-law Aaron Williamson; his stepchildren, Laura Miller and Steven Miller; his daughter-in-law Mindy Miller; his grandchildren, Wheeler Stocks, Jackson Miller and Madelyn Miller; his nephews, Matt Smead and Nick Smead; and his niece Lauren Devitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
