She was predeceased by: her parents, Seferino Rivera and Benedicta Rivera; and her brothers-in-law, Ruben Mendiaz, Antonio Urquidi, Joseles Linares, Abelino Olivas and Jorge Armendariz.
She is survived by: her husband Justino Ulate; her daughter Nelly Ali Ulate-Briles; her son-in-law Nathan Briles (Anna Wendy Ulate); her grandchildren, Garrett Briles, Michael Orenday, David Orenday (Autumn), America Orenday, Brooklynn Briles, John Paul Franco, Daniel Franco and Justin Franco; her great grandchildren, Rayden Orenday and Ronan Orenday; and her siblings, Emeterio Rivera (Silvia), Esperanza Rivera, Sylvia Olivas, Rosa Isela Mendiaz, Elda Mata (Jesus), Margarita Rivera, Rosario Rivera, Rene Rivera (Maria), Alfredo Rivera (Aida), Seferino Jr. Rivera, Benita Gonzalez (Chume), Benito Rivera and Gabriela Rivera (Toño Morales). She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and goddaughters.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Acres West Funeral Chapel (8115 W University Blvd, Odessa, TX 79764). A rosary was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (907 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761).
