She was predeceased by: her parents, Arturo Astorga and Adela Astorga; and her siblings, Arturo, Adolfo, Armando, Hector Astorga, Hortencia Gratton, Catalina Calderon and Estela Cosio.
She is survived by: her husband Simon S. Martinez; her sons, Simon Martinez Jr. (Belinda), Arturo Martinez (Diane), Guillermo Martinez (Lorina), Ricardo Martinez (Irma) and Frank Gratton; her sister Josefina Filerio; her grandchildren, Jonathan Martinez, Alexis Chatham (Aaron), Brian Martinez (Sam), Benjamin Martinez (Gemma), Samantha Chavez (Oscar), Ayanna Martinez, Richie Jr., Madelyn Martinez, Nathan, Chris, Daniela and John; her daughters, Isabella, Tiffany Martinez (Cristian) and Celeste (Malachi); and her great grandchildren, Cohen Chatham, Julian, Cybrian, Sophia Martinez, Hailey, Ethan, Kasen, Novaly Martinez, Mateo and Niko Chavez.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (2633 Conover Ave, Odessa, TX 79763). A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762).
