He was predeceased by: his father Arturo D. Armendariz; his grandparents, Valentine, Angelita Flores, Jose and Leonor Armendariz; and his sister Obdulia Anaya Nunez.
He is survived by: his mother Elydia Flores Barriga; his adoptive mother Connie A. Lopez; his daughter Sandra Armendariz Vickers (Don Vickers); and his grandchildren, Rey Gomez Jr., Elisa Gomez Olivarez, Josiah Holugin, Emilee Holugin, Jadasi Cortez, Azaliah Guiterrez, Lilyanah Cortez, Jose Rojas, Cruz Vejil, Alixya Chavez, Madalynn Meierhoff, Santana Armendariz and Maliah Armendariz.
