She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Nation; her sister Becky Fuller; her parents, Eve Laverne Kelly and Edward Fuller Jr.; her stepbrother Tomas Kelly; and her granddaughter Kathleen "Katie" Elliott.

She is survived by: her children, Melissa Farmer of Odessa, Charles Nation of Odessa, Darlis Meyer of Eagle River, AK and Kathleen Farmer of Anchorage, AK; her siblings, DeeDee Scott of Garden City, KS, Ben Fuller of Mt Vernon, IN, Eddie Fuller of Liberal, KS, Bill Fuller of Round Top, TX, James Kelly, Jacqueline Hourigan, Karen Diver and Elizabeth Lenz; her grandchildren, Thomas Cooksey (Kim), Steven Cooksey (Sara), Sierra Cooksey, Logan Shaw, Joshua Farmer, Jordan Elliott (Miranda) and Morgan Smith (Wesley); and her great grandchildren, Dakotah, Devan, Emma, Keegan, Jordan Jr., Cadence, Micah and Estelle.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in her name to Katie's Handprint (an organization supporting Alaskan families impacted by childhood cancer).
