He was predeceased by: his parents, Everardo Martinez and Antonia Reyes (Sosa). He is survived by: his wife Irene Saucedo of Odessa, Texas; his children, Sammy Martinez (Erika Alvidrez) of Odessa, Texas, Eddie Martinez of Odessa, Texas, Jesse Martinez (Kelly) of Odessa, Texas, Olivia Martinez of Odessa and Toni Martinez of Shreveport, Louisiana; and his siblings, Bobby Larez of Odessa, Fito Hernandez (Francis) of San Antonio, Texas, Maria Tarian of Odessa, Yolanda Sotelo (Fernando) of Monahans and Emma Sanchez (Ramon) of Albuquerque. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
