She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Eulene Coleman (Parton); her husband Albert Leon Griggs; and her father James Gordon Coleman. She is survived by: her children, Bert Griggs (Laura) of San Angelo, Gayle Griggs Fuqua of Kermit and Steven Griggs (Amy) of Spring; her grandchildren, Jayden Fuqua (Jettin) of San Antonio, Conlee Fuqua Carrasco (Adrian) of Lubbock and Katelyn Grosse (Tanner) of Roundrock; her great grandchildren, Audree Carrasco and Jericho Fuqua; her siblings, Jimmy Coleman (Cindy) of Lubbock and Janice Falkenberg (Leland) of Knippa; and her sister-in-law Joyce McLemore of Odessa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Methodist Church (1808 N Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761).
