We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Carol Nelle of Odessa, Texas, born in Floresville, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Kreidel and Louise Kreidel; her stepmother Velma Kreidel; her brother Morris Kreidel; and her sister-in-law Frances Dempsey Kreidel Shannon.

She is survived by: her husband Fred Nelle of Odessa; her sons, Greg Nelle (Linda) of Round Rock and Ross Nelle (Shawna) of Flower Mound, Texas.; her grandsons, Garrett Nelle (Brianna) of Taylor and Reed Nelle of Round Rock, Texas; and her great grandchild Lucille Nelle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces; and nephews; and wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland United Methodist Church, 1808 N. Dixie Blvd., Odessa, Texas 79761 or to charity of choice.

“She was my neighbor for 25 years. She knew me and my family since I was 4. I moved away from the neighborhood almost a year ago but still went to visit her a few times, and I’m grateful for all the visits and talks we had. I’m going to miss sitting and talking with her or when she would call me to see how me and my family are doing. She was the sweetest lady on the block and always looked out for me and the other kids in the neighborhood. Miss her already. I’m not ready for today but like her husband told me, she is in a better place now. Until we meet again love you”
