She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sons, David and Steve (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Karen Scribner; her grandchildren, Sean (Jen), Madison and Taylor; her great grandchild Eleanor; her niece Amy Green (Brian); her nephew Todd Nugent (Tristan); and her sister-in-law Ethel Nugent.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the same location.
She also served on the Board of Directors of the Education Foundation of Odessa. In 2009 she was awarded a Community Statesman Award by the Heritage Foundation of Odessa.
