He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Gonzalez and Lucia Arzola Gonzalez; his wife Ruth Medrano; his son Tony Gonzalez; and his siblings, Filiberto, Ben, Frank, Cecilia, Dolores, Guillermo, Eugene and Clara.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Gonzales, Margie Kent (Randy) and Deacon Edward Gonzalez (Maria). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 7:00 AM. Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (2633 Conover Ave, Odessa, TX 79763). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762).
