He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Fuentez; his parent Gregoria Fuentez Cortez; and his brother Manuel Tarango. He is survived by: his children, Abram Fuentez, Melissa Fuentez of Odessa and Joanna Muniz (Ramon) of Odessa; his grandchildren, AJ, Zoe, Jorge and Jon Fuentez; his great grandchild Azriel Fuentez of Odessa; and his siblings, Ascencion "Chon" Fuentez Contreras of Odessa and Lupe Gonzalez (Mario) of Ft. Worth.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory (1040 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761). A prayer was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ector County Cemetery (300 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761).
