He was predeceased by: his wife Yolanda; his parents, Natividad Livar (Calderon) and Casimiro Livar; his grandson David Livar; and his brothers, Rodolfo Livar and Cipriano Livar.
He is survived by: his children, Cipriano Livar, Jesse Livar (Rosa), Diana Hinojosa (Roland) and Betty Livar; his grandchildren, Adam Livar, C. J. Livar, Crystal Livar, Cassandra Livar, Marlene Livar, Marissa Livar, Jesse Livar, Jr. of Amanda Hinojosa, R. J, Mia Hinojosa, Quentin Hinojosa, Gwen Flores (Adam), Brandon Galvan, Blake Galvan, Brenna Galvan and Bryce Galvan; and his sisters, Julia Gonzalez and Estefana Livar. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
