Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Thelma Thompson in Oakwood, Texas, born in Corsicana, Texas, who passed away at the age of 94, on February 16, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Stokes and Thelma Ethel Ficklin; her husband Wilbur Lionell Thompson, Jr.; her brother William Thomas "Bill" Stokes; her granddaughter Natalie Bredthauer; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Johnson and W. Robert Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ann "Tricia" Matthews (Bill) of Kerrville, William Scott Thompson (Candance) of Houston and Deborah Jill Bredthauer (Larry) of Leander; her grandchildren, Christian Matthews (Linda), Daniel Matthews, Traci White (Caperton), Scott Thompson, Lauren Appenbrink (Read) and Hope Bredthauer; her great grandchildren, Madeleine, Elian Matthews, Peyton, Lillian White, Will and Anna Grace Appenbrink; her sisters-in-law, Fiona Stokes and Carole Ann Wilson; and also, Bill Stokes and Brad Stokes (Melissa). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
