We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2022, at the age of 66, Terry Lee Coates of Oakwood, Texas, born in Palestine, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Coates, Jr. (Coates). He is survived by: his mother Lela Wade Barnett Coates; his wife JoAnn Coates; his children, Scott Coates (Karen) of Georgia, Christi Simmons (John) of Georgia and Meghan Coates of Palestine; his stepdaughter Britney Hindam (Stephen) of Bullard; his brothers, Michael Coates (Martha) of Waco and Mark Coates (Debbie) of Oakwood; and his grandchildren, Maeci, Bella, Aiden, Wesley, Alex and Shirley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
