He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Lucille Bennett (Whitman) and Thomas Bennett; and his brothers, Jimmy and Tommy Bennett of Galveston, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Kathie; his son Brian Bennett of Houston; his stepsons, Daryl Mayse of Grandview, Toby Loftin and Kaleb Elder of Tarrant County; his daughters, Kim Petroski of Houston and Kassie Mayse-Bennett; his stepdaughter Patricia Mayse of Oakwood; his grandchildren, Blair, Sydney Bennett, Hunter Petroski, Gregory, Patty and Lane Moreno; and his friends, Sam Bradshaw, VJ Maresh, Thom and Nelda Zachary.
