He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Durant; his siblings, Crowell, Lawrence, Elton, Melton Durant, Virginia Harrell and Faye Stafford; and his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Clara Lee Durant (Parsons).
He is survived by: his children, Niki Lyn Durant Sessions of Houston, Thomas Reagan Durant of Houston, Jay Scott Durant (Tina) of Huffman and Alissa Dawn Durant; his siblings, Robert Durant (Dean) of Lufkin and Annie Mae Nettles (John) of Ft. Worth; and his children, Mathew, Joshua Sessions, Jason, Curtis, Taryl Durant, Lacey Blasingame Proffer and Trent Blasingame. He is also survived by four children and his love for his wife, his children, his grandchildren.
