She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Hurtado and Tiburcia Hurtado (Sanchez); her husband E. T. Almanza; and her daughter Carmen R Almanza. She is survived by: her children, Arthur, Luci Almanza, JoAnn, Chuck Donahoe, Carl Ray and Jennifer Almanza Sr.; and her grandchildren, Carl Jr., Tony, Joshua, Cary Joe and Natalie.
