She was predeceased by: her parent Peairlee Stotts Krause (Clinton Pitts); her children, Richard Derek Ward and Debra Jane Ward; and her daughter-in-law Yvonne Ward. She is survived by: her siblings, Leoylian Krause "Kid" Means, Charles Krause and Dannie Ray Krause; her grandchildren, Serena, Ryan Voight, Paula Jane Nugent, Ferris Ward, Kaysha, Justine, Travis and Lisa; her stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Pitts, Edward Pitts, Jr., Ashlee Pitts and Tommie Pitts; her great grandchildren, Nathan Sanchez and Vina; and her close friends, Linda Musick and Linda Dolhey. She is also survived by great-grandchildren on the way; numerous nieces; nephews.
