She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walter and Mary Grace Lambert Freeman; her son Stanley Wayne Pickens; and her siblings, Curtis Bryan Freeman and Geraldine Hartsfield.
She is survived by: her husband Talmage B. Pickens; and her sons, Walter Talmage Pickens (Mabel) of Teague, Larry Joe Pickens (Rosemary) of Oakwood and Jerry David Pickens of Fairfield. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
