He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edison and Hazel Lack (Tatum); his wife Opal Lack; and his daughter Barbara Merritt. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Corby of Oakwood, Eddie "Ed" Lack, Jr. (Pam) of Ft. Worth, William Lack of Oakwood and Debra Groff (Michael) of The Woodlands. He is also survived by grandchildren; as well as thirty great-grandchildren.
