It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Assiter of Oakwood, Texas, born in Crosby, Texas, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elwood and Ruth Enzer Assiter (Waller). He is survived by: his wife Janice Marie Marsh; his children, Lezlie Langford (Chris) of Arlington, TX, Amy Brown (George) of The Colony, TX and Brett Assiter of Lubbock, TX; his sister Kay Droke (Wes) of El Paso, TX; and his grandchildren, Kevin Langford (Leah), Cade Langford, George Brown III, Spencer Brown, Lindsay Assiter, Aaron Assiter and Colby Assiter. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
