It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty R Padilla (Oakwood, Texas), who passed away on January 5, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Riggins and Mary Rodriguez Riggins; her spouse Chavelo Padilla; and her siblings, Nancy Enriquez, Santos Marquez, Betsy Quinones, Valente, Lee, Odie and Cedro Riggins.
She is survived by: her sister Faye Marquez; her children, Petina Pascoe, Isabell Quintanilla (Gonzalo), Gloria Hernandez (Mike) and Christino Padilla; her grandchildren, Lionel Reyes, Ryan Pascoe, Andrea Watts, Kristina Aguirre, Chalo Quintanilla, Erica Cano, Rudy Trevino, Anthony Padilla and Corazon Fabian; and her pet Emily. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
