He was predeceased by: his father Albert J. Funderburk Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Chambers Funderburk of Groves; his son Nicholas Daniel Funderburk (Hailey) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Gage, Aubry and Charley; and his siblings, Darla Speicher of Hudson and A. J. Funderburk (Linda) of Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
