He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Zant and Helen Van Zant (Riley); and his sister Brenda Pilkington. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Glenn; his children, Deric Van Zant of Christoval, Trey Van Zant of Ft. Worth, Winston Cave of Austin, Sam Poe (Melanie) of Moody, Alabama and Natalie Adamson (Alan) of San Angelo; his sister Jo Fiest of San Angelo; his mother-in-law Joyce Glenn of Kerrville; his sister-in-law Brenda Craig (Bill) of Kerrville; his cousins, Tommy Van Zant (Sheila) of Brady and Irene Hogan (Dennis) of Arizona; his nieces, Janice Early (Zak) of Burnet and Delinda Gizzi (Pete) of Sweetwater; and his grandchildren, Karson and Connor Poe. He is also survived by one great-grandchild and many friends.
Due to the current COVID crisis, a memorial service will be held for Lewis at a later date.
