She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chapman and Emma Pearl Chapman; and her husband Robert Carlton Matthews. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Coburn, Robert Glenn Matthews and Marilyn Sharp; and her children, Shirley Howell (Charles), Carolyn Johnson (Andy), William Gator Matthews (Susan) and John Mark Matthews (Tammy). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
