He is survived by: his wife Vanita Mattson of Keller Texas; his sister Helen Doutt (Sam) of Gibsonville; and his children, Russell Mattson II (Monique) of Rowlett, Texas, Stephen Mattson, Travis Armstrong (Amanda) of Aledo, Texas, Greg Armstrong (Lisa) of Argyle, Texas and Becky Greenwood (Todd) of Pea Ridge. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
