It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Milton Newton Jr. of North Richland Hills, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Ann Tackett and Nell Carney. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ferguson; his daughters, Kristin Perry (Bryan Perry), Emily Snow (Wayne Snow) and Kendra Schalk (Ben Schalk); his grandchildren, Hayden Perry, Mackenzie Perry, Farrah Snow, River Snow, Astoria Schalk and Harold Schalk; and his sister Donna McGibboney (Don McGibboney) of Azle, Texas..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Hurst (1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church (941 W Bedford Euless Rd, Hurst, TX 76053).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Peace Lutheran Church of Hurst in honor of music ministry, in Bob's memory.
