He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Walter and Edith Jewel Carrothers; and his siblings, Leon, Leroy Carrothers, Nedra Kelly and Rowena Sharp.
He is survived by: his spouse Centennia June Carrothers; his children, Steve Carrothers, Kim Carrothers Hutto (Hut) and Scott Carrothers (Annette); his grandchildren, Jonathan Carrothers (Candi), Brandy Hedges (Ben), Taylor Hutto (Pa), Jenna Hutto, Catie Carrothers, Chad Carrothers (Cam) and Will Carrothers; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Eli, Leah, Baylee, Rylan, Rashaun and Bishop.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brown Trail Church of Christ (1801 Brown Trail, Hurst, TX 76054). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Blue Haven Youth Camp.
