He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Alfred and Mattie Pauline; and his sister Kay Gilmer. He is survived by: his wife Louise; his sons, Jim (Beth), Doug (Suzie) and Matt (Meredith); and his brothers, Frank and Bobby. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Park Chapel (8525 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, TX 76182). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Keller (225 Keller Pkwy, Keller, TX 76248). A committal service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
