He was predeceased by: his parents, Luciano DeLaGarza and Estanislada Salais Luna; his wife Jean DeLaGarza; his brothers, Luciano (Mamie DeLaGarza), Jimmy "Smokey" DeLaGarza and Edward "Wasso" (Mary DeLaGarza); his sister-in-law Belia DeLaGarza; his half-brothers, Arturo DeLaGarza and Joe Luna, Jr.; and his stepsister Alma Barrerra.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny DeLaGarza of Longview, TX, Jesse DeLaGarza (Susan) of Irving, TX, Jodi Liles (Chris) and Jacki Nelson (James) of Euless, TX; his brother Jamie "James" DeLaGarza; his sister-in-law Manuela DeLaGarza; and his half-brother Paul Luna. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
