He is survived by: his sons, Michael Tolfa (Kirsten) and Jason Tolfa (Lisa); his sister Mary Staercke (David); his grandchildren, Kori Tolfa, Gavin Harlien, Jacob Tolfa, Reese Tolfa and Hannah Wright; his niece Barbara Sandler (Lance); and his nephew Donald Rushton (Susan McGinn).
