He is survived by: his wife Johanna; his stepdaughter Sheilah Fowler; his son Dan Hardesty (Christine) of Irving; his grandchildren, Blake Hardesty (Alexis) and Anna Hardesty; his son Brian Hardesty (MaryBeth) of Allen; his grandchildren, Christopher Hardesty and Lilliana Hardesty; and his brother Jim Hardesty (Signe).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smithfield Methodist Church (6701 Smithfield Rd, North Richland Hills, TX 76182). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
