She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Kenneth Ernest Bass; and her parents, Claude Leroy Jones and Abby Stella Richie Jones. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Claude Bass (Denise Bass), Kevin Ernest Bass (Laura Bass), Kristopher Lee Bass (Huntley Bass) and Karen Elizabeth Winbourne (Sean Winbourne); her grandchildren, Clay, Colton, Jeffrey, Abby, Blake, Luke, Evan, Brooks, Harrison, McAlister and Isles; and her great grandchild Gabriel.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Forsyth Memorial Park (3771 Yadkinville Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, The Ronald McDonald House, or Samaritans Purse.
