He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jackson Vick and Cora Gladys Windsor; his stepfather J. C. Windsor; his sisters, Emma Lee Beckworth and Virginia Bryce; and his daughters-in-law, Joy Lynn Vick and Ciara Vick.

He is survived by: his children, Glenn Vick, Dennis Vick (Barbara), Jannice Nappi (Andrea), Julie Robinson (Raymond), Troy Vick, Jr. and Monica Gierisch (Johnny III); and his caregiver Robinson. He is also survived by 3 great-great-grandchildren.
