With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eunice Myrle Gilbert Hodges (Normangee, Texas), who passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Ben Hodges; her parents, Wharton Randall Gilbert and Salla Artie Bates Gilbert; her siblings, Arnold Gilbert, Raymond Gilbert and Martha Harrell; her son Elmer Tracy Hodges; her grandsons, Gary B. Garceau and Donald Wayne Hodges; and her great grandchild Jackson Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Hodges (Mildred), Gilbert Hodges Sr. (Tena) and Debbie Garceau (Gary); and her grandchildren, Mark Garceau (Katrina), Brandie Savell (Corey), Kelby Vice (Laura), Dustin Vice (Carrie), Gilbert Hodges Jr. (Lauren), Kathryn Garver (Matt) and Cheryl Hodges-Paloski (Nathan). She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hopewell Cemetery.
