She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley McKnight and Bettie McKnight (Jennings); her brothers, Bob and Joe Scott; and her daughter Kathy Horne.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Yaws, Sr. of Normangee; and her children, Donna Baker of Bryan, Mary Gibson (Dave) of Normangee, Brenda Swim (Keith) of College Station, Debbie Yaws of Bryan and Donald Yaws, Jr. of Normangee. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
