It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Melvin Caldwell (Normangee, Texas), who passed away on February 12, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett E. Caldwell and Ruby Myrtle Johnston; his daughters, Sherry LaVere and Judy Caldwell; his grandson John "Skipper" Eskridge; and his siblings, Thelma, Bobby Gene and Orval Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Patricia Gail Williams of Madisonville, Texas, Sue, Jim Patterson of Riverside, Joan Margaret and Robert Robbins of Santa Fe, TX; his sister Glenda; and his brother-in-law Milton Griffith. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
