He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Hutcheson Humphrey and Harold Webster Humphrey; and his sister Gwendolyn Mae Humphrey. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Humphrey; his children, Cathy Humphrey, Robert Humphrey (Rebecca) and Donna Waller (Gregory); and his sisters, Joan Dodds (Randy) and Linda Kuczka (Michael). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
